Converting to a 1x10 with a slx m675 double crankset and a raceface nw 30t chainring. So far I've put in 8.5mm bolts which leaves about 1.3mm of thread, which is about one a half to two threads exposed.

Could this cause problems and therefore should I rather source some 10mm bolts?

Thanks for the reply.

The 2.5mm shim on the nw ring should put the chainline on shimano's stated 48.8mm for the double crank. Assuming I'm trying to achieve a chainline of 45mm for a 142 hub, it makes sense to put the bb spacer on the non-drive side? The bike is a rocky mountain slayer with a 73mm bb shell.
