Has anyone put 700c wheels and long reach road brake calipers on their 1x1?

I've got a 1x1=11 w/700c fixed wheels which doesn't have canti mounts. I want to use the disc set-up on another bike. So I was just interested in if it would take long reach brakes...

I have a set of Tektro R556 and they measure ~72mm from the mounting bolt to the lowest pad position (bolt centres).

It'll be pretty close. Sounds cool, post pics if it works.
