I recently added a 3rd tray to my 1Up and was thinking of getting one of the two versions of add-on locks for extra security.

I prefer to look and use of the second one (which match my existing hitch and wheel locks), but was curious to see if anyone has any input as to if either works better (stays tight/loosens, more/less secure, etc.) than the other.

Thoughts?

Not sure about the first one, but I happily use add-on locks together with rack lock and wheel locks. Same key for everything, what can be better?

Yeah, I went with the second one. And yes, same key for all the locks is great. I've got six wheel locks, the hitch lock, and the lock mentioned above, for a total of 8 locks. It would suck to have 8 different keys!
