This is the other Fat Chance that came with the yellow Slim Chance road bike. It had been updated over the years but we were able to put mostly original parts back on it. I would still like to find a yellow Fat Chance fork for it and XC shifters. The Ritchey Unifork and Suntour Power shifters were the closest parts we had in stock.

for a person that just joined, you sure picked up people's real name fast. Which other handle do you use? :p

FF: your site is used all the time. Thanks for the good work. It is much appreciated even though you probably don't hear that enough.

Sorry Jeff, but your site is used and abused in the best way. I am congratulating you for your never ending efforts in the pursuit of cataloging our passion. Thank you.

Hey Jeff, how come your '85 has bottom mount brakes, whereas mine has seat stay ones?

Funny, yours has red painted bolts, mine are yellow. I always thought the previous owner did that, seems now, it was done in house, cool.....
I would guess you could specify the brakes? Serial number on ours looks like it may have been later in the year?

Painted bolts are stupid;)
