19.5 big enough?

I know, I know. A person should ride the bike first for proper fit, but I want to build my next bike and I don't know of anyone in the south Texas area who possesses or sells Sette. Technically speaking, is the Flite 19.5 large enough for a 6'5" 200lbs rider? The Sette sizing chart starts at 5'11" and ends at 6'2" for the largest size available. I know it's only three inches, but every other size listed has a from "min" height to "max" height suggestion leading one to believe that 6'2" is the suggested max for the large. I currently ride a 22" hardtail and after seeing highdell's Flite, just knew I had to have one. :) BTW highdell - do those tires come with a red stripe or did you do that yourself?

Fitting for you is probably a bit more difficult, since your so tall and the bike is not really made for you height according to the fit charts at least.

You can try out this calculator and perhaps there would be some recommendations people can make http://www.competitivecyclist.com/za/CCY?PAGE=FIT_CALCULATOR_INTRO

Highdell's flite was a frame up build, those tires would cost you almost another $100.00
FWIW , I am 6'3" and could not see myself on a 19.5" frame , I really cant imagine it working out any better for you . YMMV.

What a jip.
Perhaps if we knew what your current bike is we could compare and see if it would work. The Flite has a large stand over, so dont give up hope. What is your current bikes? You can compare the geometrys.

I'm embarrassed to say. A Raleigh Mojave 3.0 22".
There is a 90mm difference in stand over height, but only 10mm difference in top tube length.

So the way I look at it, if you can deal with adding a stem that is 10 longer than your current one and having some extra room between your legs you could probably make it work.

May I ask why you want to go from a bike that I would call a Hybrid on steroids, to a 6 inch Full Suspension All Mountain bike? There is a huge difference in the 2 bikes.
IMHO , you are not going to like the fit of a 19.5 " frame and I humbly suggest you post this in the bike and frame forum so you can get a few more more qualified opinions . FWIW , @ 6' 3" I ride 21/22 " frame sizes , I find it hard to believe that a 19.5 " frame could be manipulated thru a stem change to fit someone of your stature .
A number of reasons. #1 - Cuz the Raleigh was my first bike purchase in a long, long time and I didn't know what I was buying and the lbs employee didn't take it upon himself to educate me. #2 - I had not yet convinced my wife that $1000 to $2000 was not an unreasonable amount of money to spend on a mtn bike. #3 - Cuz a 6" full suspension all mountain bike is what I feel I need with the style of riding I currently do and the style I plan to do in the future. Believe it or not, the Raleigh has held up surprisingly well with the addition of a wheel and cassette upgrade, but the seat repeatedly bumping off of my a$* on downhill (not to be confused with DOWNHILL) runs has become a bit of an aggravation. I'm hoping that 6" of rear suspension travel will remedy this and provide me with the ability to take some decent sized jumps/drop offs if the mood ever strikes me. Oh, and my wife said I could :)

Are they full suspension 21/22" frame sizes? If so, what brand?
