will it affect the geometry of the bike if i'll gonna put a 170mm fork on a 6.75 reign x?

will it stress the frame by doing so?

Go for it.

Lots of people have put bigger single crowns up to 180mm on the Reign X with great success. You can play around with this link to see what it would do to the bikes geometry...
