Wanting to try some 165 length cranks for a new build, both to help with pedaling through rocky sections and i've noticed that at the top of my pedal stroke, just as my knee is starting to straighten, it feels like a dead spot, and i dont produce much power till later in the stroke. Feel like shorter cranks would help produce more power early on.

Anyway, Ive been planning on XO1 cranks or e13 trsr's, till i realized they dont make them in a 165. I'm looking for something pretty damn light, but there really arent many options.
any recommendations?

I use the Thorn cranks from SJS cycles, they go from 150 to 185mm and use a 104/64mm mounting for chainrings. They do come in JIS square taper only, but i like that.
