I've got two frames, and they both have play in the upper shock link somewhere. Doesn't seem to be the actual shock bushings, but in the frame itself. As if the bolt was too thin.

Anyone know if the frame bushings are replaceable? That annoying clunk/ratlle happens pretty quickly on FSR frames afaik.

Upper shock link is bearings. You mean the rocker link? Is it the shock rear bolt that is loose?

No bushings in that frame, all bearings.

I fitted 2 skinny O-rings, 1 on each side side to take the movement. I tried 2 types of shock mount bushes the 5 piece and the Du bush but the Du bush with the extra O-rings works better for me! Now there is no side freeplay.

had a bushing kit from offsetbushings.com laying about - solved most of the problem (noise). As well as tightening the bolt from the shock to the yoke, which the shop had not tightened properly...

Thanks guys!
