No issues for me, but I ride clipped. If you already have rub on a 142 bike, well, it certainly could be an issue.
More interested in your Banshee comment. I owned a Fugitive and have had multiple Banshees, including the current Prime which is a direct comparison.
I didn’t notice any quality or welding differences; both are really high-quality aluminum frames. Anecdotally, I did have a ton of cable rattle on the Knolly, which I’ve never had on any modern Banshee. Ride quality and suspension performance are mildly different, but both perform astonishingly well.
Big thing for me as an XL rider is stack height. I do understand the decision for the tiny head tube, but I just don’t want a huge spacer stack and 50mm riser bars to get my hands where I need them.
