I have a Carrera Centos and the forks are absolute boll*cks
They are Suntour XCM-V3 120mm and you cant buy new seals, oil or anything for them!
Im looking for a new cheap pair of forks to slap on it

2011 Rockshox Recon 351 Solo Air Fork For Sale in Stillorgan, Dublin from odddie

These are the best and cheapest I can find but they have 20mm more travel on them. Would that affect the bike at all? Im going to be doing some fairly big drops and jumps on it.
Im saying to myself its only 20mm but i still dont wana f*ck up my bike

If you're worried about the handling, then just run more sag.

Structurally your biggest problem with a bigger fork is being able to ride the bike harder and faster than it was designed for. The difference in length isn't significant as you have no traction when the fork is fully extended.

You can shorten that model of Recon to 120mm with a couple of spacers, plenty of shops can do that for you.

Be aware that the Recon is a 20mm axle model too, you will need a new front wheel as well as the fork.
