I posted about this light setup over in the "Lights and night riding" forum but thought maybe the functionality vs. cost factor on this setup might be better appreciated here. Yes it's just another cheap Chinese amazon light but has a functional cutoff beam + comes with a usb chargeable Samsung battery that gives it a measured by me 250+ lumens per light and also measured by me 4 hr. runtime in its highest mode for a (at the moment) $6.19 per light. I have it shown with 2 lights because IMO only one light had just enough light to see safely but not enough to ride comfortably (2 has plenty of light and a nice wide beam). It's a simple light with a UI of High/Low/Blue/Flash/off. Mount offers horizontal adjustable aiming but only fits bars up to 25.4mm so will have to be mounted near the controls if you have oversized bars.
Rokkes (2) pro's:
500+ measured lumens (maintains that intensity till the last few minutes of its runtime)
Usable cutoff beam
4 hr. runtime @ max setting
Runs cool even though mostly plastic construction (I live in the Arizona desert)
$12.38 price for 2 lights
Rokkes (2) cons:
Limited mounting options especially if you have oversized bars.
Takes up a lot of bar space using 2 lights
Plastic! plastid! plastic! (to be expected @ this price)
I've been using one of the lights as a backup for about 6 mo. trouble free so that's all I can vouch for as far as long term reliability. Hope this is of some value to someone.
