What is the benefit of switching to a 11-34 cassette from a 11-32 cassette?
I put one on my 13yo sons 8 speed bike for climbs; it made a big difference for him.... not just in granny gear either.

It won't make anyone a world beater but it means you get to ride up some bits you used to walk.

id suggest wearing out your cassette first..
oh yea forgot about that, unless you're chain is in brand new condition, you will need a new chain too. Or you will have ghost shifting/chain skipping.

the cassette and chain wear out together

Do you have a similar table for 8-speed cassette? I mean, 11-30 vs. 11-32 t.
Not handy, but if I recall correctly there was a big jump from 28T to the big cog on Sram's cassettes, keeping their spacing in check at the business end compared to Shimano.
