Just got my outlaws today and noticed how much more beefie the 12mm ta is compared to the 10mm qr. I was thinking it wouldn't be too hard to bore out the frame 1mm on each side of the dropout to allow the 12 to fit in there. I would assume that would void the frame warranty, but besides for that, does anyone see any problems with that?

Thanks.

Depends on your frame. If you are adventurous and have a lot of room around the hole, without any welds or cutouts, you can safely drill it. Will this void the warranty? Probably not, but maybe. ;) Most frame manufacturers will still honor their warranty as long as the failure has nothing to do with your modification. Key word is "Most", you have to decide if it's worth it.

Probably best to get a different axle.

Instead of drilling the frame, you can file 2 sides of the axle, make it 10mm.
I'm using 135*12 ringle rear hub, that's what I did to make it fit into my demo 8.
