1.95/2.35" inner tubes for 2.4" width tires

Hi all, the stock Ikons that came with my Giant Talon already needs replacing. I ride primarily on trails and I am planning to swap the both of them for Maxxis Ardent 29 x 2.4". I will be converting them to tubeless sooner but not when I get the new tires, I'm guessing the tubes will just be okay for the tires but asking this for a peace of mind.

It will be fine! I even use 26” tubes in a pinch.

Your fine, ive even used 1.25 wide tubes in 2.35 tires. Butyl rubber stretches, a lot.

I habitually carry a 24x2.25 tube as a spare for my 29x2.5 and 2.6 tires, ( bigger tubes dont fit between the downtube and shock) and have successfully used it on 2 occasions to ride out a slashed sidewall.

Any mtb tube will inflate to like 3 feet across and 4 inches in diameter.
