09 Paragon Question

Wondering what the difference is between the FC-M543-SK Shimano crankset that comes on the paragon and a true XT crankset FC-M770. Is it just heavier, or does it contain noticeable differences? Just picked up a closeout 09 (love it BTW). That was the one "spec" that I noticed was "out of line" with the rest of the component group.

As you already say! A bit heavier and standard chainrings instead of XT composite ones. Ride it till it dies then fit an XT.
