Any updates on when the 09s will be available?

How about the RIP 9 and One 9 as well. Are we still on track for January?
:skep: If it were me and I was witing on one right now, so I didn't get too disapointed I'd assume March sometime as a more accurate timeline for delivery. ;) But that's just me and seeing how things have gone before with other Niner products.

TR,

Glad I could help. White frames are due around the 26th but we will not have them in stock to sell untill the first week of Jan.

You can always have hope, but that pretty much also what they were saying last year with the first batch and they ended up taking until March.

I ordered a RIP, and today was told the beginning of March.
Hi, are the RIP's still scheduled for March?

Thanks

Hi Jason,

We will have the new frames shipping the week of January 5th. We will have the new Vana White, Licorice Ano, and Kermit Green ready to ship in all sizes at this time.

Thanks,

Okay, Brett - what does that thing weigh with the Edge rims, Karma lites, Syntace goodies, foam grips and twisties, and carbon crankset? I'm guessing 22.x - 23.x.... (certainly no more than that in the size you show in the picture).

It looks sweet, that's for sure. I've got my parts coming in slowly for my '08 build. I'll have to wait a little while on the Formula R1's....

Well, here's hoping that Brett and Niner prove me wrong and frames ship out before end of January.

Okay, an update on the 2009 RIP 9. Steve's completed the final mold approval and verified testing on the new top tube mold we opened. The new tt replaces the gusseting that was done on the frames seen at Interbike this year (both at the head tube AND seat tube). The result: mold approval. The new top tube has the same strength as the previous gusseted versions (which significantly surpasses the harshest testing requirements), but manages to be lighter and look better. We are expecting to have these frames in by March, and will start delivery right after that to all who have pre-ordered. Thanks for your patience, we hope you think these frames will be worth the wait.

Thanks,

Brett

Wow Brett, that is HOT! Do you have the build specs for this bike?

Hey Guys,

I believe it was in the mid 24ish pound range actually. Build includes XO twist shifters/rear derailleur, Truvative Noir cranks, white Juicy's, FoxRL100, Syntace Bar, stem, seat post, EDGE Composites rims, Chris King Hubs, Kenda Karma tires, etc. etc. This is a solid example of a lightweight yet very very durable XC race build.

Cheers,

Thanks! So, any spy shots of the new and improved frame? I thought the original prototype looked pretty good!

To my knowledge the new frame is the white one pictured in the above post, #8.

Sorry, I meant the new RIP. The Jet is beautiful though, I really dig the white.
