09 Escape questions

First off, anyone have a good link to the product page or geometry for 08 or 09? I cant find any archives or old model data on haro's website.

2nd, what kind of tire clearance does the frame have? Is a 2.3 nevegal cutting it close? anyone running a 2.5?

Also, just curious about BB width. If someone knows offhand if its 68 or 73 I'd appreciate it.

Heres a geometery chart from Haro's website Haro Escape

I'm almost possitive the BB width is 68.

Not sure as to the tire clearance questions. I'm still riding on the oem 2.10's.

I have the 07 comp and am running the 2.3 nevegal they fit fine.

Other than the added weight, how does the bike feel?

Its really nice for pushing it around corners…the weight isn’t so bad considering it’s a 2.35 tire. I had a intense 951 2.35 which really weighed a lot and had a larger profile considering they were both 2.35.

If your riding FR or DH weight shouldnt be a major issue, to busy having fun. :thumbsup:

I dont have an Escape but am riding a 2.5 on the rear of my HT with no prob. :rockon:

Yeah, our catalog archives aren't working on the website...long story there.

The BB size is 68mm.

I know people have use a 2.5 tire on their Escapes; you should have enough clearance. That's a LOT of tire, though...a 2.35 would be really ideal.

Unless your a wimp like me, low PSI fat tire HT.
