Thanks!

Why not the RS Lyrik? It's lighter, has better damping, same size stanchions, and the same amount of travel.
The Domain is far less flashy and arguably less sophisticated than the RC3, but the reliability is way better. The RC3 works awesome, but 08-09 Marzocchi products are hit-and-miss. Domains are pretty freakin good, I'd go that route. You can find em ~$300 if you pay attention. There are 3 ending within the next 24hrs on eBay for $300-350. You probably know this, but the 302's suck...gotta be a 318.
Save your cash until you can afford a 2010 Marzocchi 55 RC3

You will then take the benefit of the 2010 Marz Improvements (i.e slotted bushings and a QR 20mm that dosent suck monkey nuts like the last one did) and also have durablility that rivals that of the domain, but with a MUCH better damping system
FWIW Marzocchi's warrentee is easyier to deal with--they have a direct line and you get to talk to a real person. I love the fact that companies like Marzocchi & Fox have a tech support line.
i just got a 318is u-turn today...i have only pressed down on it a bunch and played with the dials but i can tell it is a nice fork...and i have been riding 66rc2x and stuff....it has a nice fit and finish and feels pretty supple...can wait to mount it up this weekend...i got is for only $350 brand new

You have to love this kind of post....pure regurgitation of marketing BS. Shiver, is that you in disguise?

Please show me the sample population of any 2010 Marz forks that show a stastically significant durability increase from Marz of the past 2-3 years. (hint, you might want to wait until more than a couple people have actually ridden them for a significant time).
