So I guess when an 08 Coilair breaks once, its only a downhill battle from there.

1st: Chain stay completely snapped "replaced chain stay"


2nd: 2 ride of the year: Where the magic link attaches to the frame cracked
3rd: Also noticed the seat tube had a large crack.

Long story short, once that once a first generation Coilair cracks, ditch it! I'm working on getting on a Kona Operator now.

Yeah I've hear stories of the 08's being less than reliable. Sucks that its coming apart like that. I've had great luck with my older Kona's, 96 Sex One, 02 Stinky & Bear. Running an 08 Dawg frame now, hoping it'll stay together like the rest.
