Does anybody know the HTA of the 07 ML2 with a 140mm fork on the front (Fox TALAS)? The Titus website lists the HTA of the ML at 69 degrees with a 130mm fork (for the small frame). I'm wondering if the HTA is the same with a 140mm fork (was the frame redesigned in '07 to take advantage of the more common 140mm forks?) or if it's a bit slacker now with the taller fork...like 68.5 degrees or so.

Thx...Doug

Titus numbers are based on 69.25 degrees with 505mm tall fork.

20mm per degree. 32 Talas is 510mm tall (I think).

So that should sit your motolite at 69 degrees.

If fork is 515mm tall, the HA is 68.75 degrees.
According to the Titus website, the size Small frame is 69.00 degrees. Medium is 69.25 degrees. My frame is a Small.

In the 140mm setting, the TALAS 32 (2007) is 510mm in height.

So I guess that puts the HTA at about 68.75 degrees for the Small frame? Anybody care to check my math?

Thx...Doug

It's correct :thumbsup:

5mm = 0.25 degrees
10mm = 0.5 degrees
15mm = 0.75 degrees
20mm = 1.0 degrees

For small frame:
100 travel (40mm drop which is 2 degrees): HA = 70.75
120 travel (20mm drop which is 1 degree) : HA = 69.75
140 travel HA = 68.75
