My continued opinion for my riding preferences tend to be that a fork of less than 6" of travel on a Nomad will give a low enough BB clearance to give too much pedal smack in any technical terrain. Additionally the Nomad continues to handle so well with a longer travel fork without killing sharp cornering or climbing that it doesn't seem logical to run a sub-6" fork. It seems a 5" or so bike would have been more logical for shorter forks.
Will the 140mm Fox work on the bike?...yes. Will it make the bike less stable in technical terrain than a 6" fork?...most of the time. Will it give more opportunities for serious pedal smacking on an already fairly low riding bike?...yes. Will the planets stop spinning and our sun burn out if you use this fork?...no.........at least not for awhile.
