Components i have decided on

Thomson Elite post w/WTB saddle [not sure of model yet]
XTR drive train, derailleurs and shifters
Avid Codes

What i would like opinions on is wheelsets and fork

cant decide whether to get a lefty or a headshok

there are a couple of good headshok deals on ebay right now

I am going to use Mavic 823 hoops and would like hub suggestions

Thanks

Get the second or third Headshok. The first one listed is much older and you will not be happy with it. The V brake bosses are the dead giveaway.

Going with a Lefty and then having to buy a Lefty front wheel starts to really drive the price up. While the Lefty offers more travel, the Headshok is just about the same in terms of overall performance.

Too bad they dont offer a Headshok in a 29er.

Is this gonna be a FR hardtail?

Mavic 823's and Avid codes?

I have had really good luck with the Ringle Dirty Flea series hubs, they are durable and super easy to service.
Free Ride, XC and commuting in the winter.
Cost does not matter looking for total bomb proofness (is that even a word?)

Thanks for noticing that. I was so entranced by "New" that i did not notice. i guess "Raven" also did not click either. I am leaning towards the Yellow one as it will match the frame more closely that the red anyway
