While looking for a new bike I noticed that the 07 big sur, no longer has carbon stays. Does anyone know why? Is the fox fork and other small upgrades worth the extra $400 over the hkek?

Looking at the 07 GF catolog, I see that while the big sur is not listed as having the carbon stays, in the picture it does have the ("Aluminum Carbon/Damping Composite") decal on the chainstay. Is this a mistake? The big sur GS does not have the decal. Has anyone on here bought or ridden an 07 big sur to know for sure whether it still has carbon stays or not?
