I would get the new one for the closeout price
Mainly for the warranty...you don't get the lifetime warranty on the used one unless you have the original owner do the claim for you if you should have problems.
For only $500.- more you get a bike that has better components (XTR cassette alone is like $200.-) , warranty, no dings or scratches and the Crossmax wheels are well worth the extra money.
If you buy the used one you'd pay way more for those nice parts that are already on the '07.
Go for the 2007!!!

The "new" one will have the life time warranty on the frame for the original owner.

A "used" cannondale will not, as their warranties are not transferable and you are not the original owner.

Just something to consider...

edit - oops looks like cdalemaniac and I were typing the same thing at the same time!

Go for the new bike for the additional $500. Those wheels on the '07 would be a $1000 upgrade. I just broke my 2005 Prophet frame. I'm the original owner, so I have the warranty card. Waiting for C'dale to send a brand new frame to the LBS to swap over parts. Would not have been possible if I wasn't the original owner with that card. I would spend the extra for the new bike.

Back to plan A.

They cant "ship" anywhere if they are a legit Cdale LBS. Cdale, Specialized and other do not allow their shops to ship. You can buy online, but you have to go into the store to pick it up (like REI)
