I was looking at the Heckler on Santa Cruz's website and I couldn't help noticing that it looks beefier than 04/05 models. Is it just me or is it, in fact, bigger? Also, has the travel increased from 130mm on 05's to 143mm on 06 Hecklers? Hope someone can clarify. Thank you!

I'm not that good at looking at a picture and telling whether a frame has gotten "beefier" or not, but I don't think they've made any significant changes to the frame recently. The travel spec went up when the rear shock was re-spec'd for 2.25" stroke from 2.00" stroke.
I have an early frame from 02 and had my 5th element reworked to the longer stroke a year ago, and think they had been spec'ing the longer stroke for several months at that point...

There is no difference in the 2006 frame besides the color options and decals. They revamped the frame design 2 to 3 years ago and have not touched it since. Right now they are in the process of revamping the Bullit so I doubt they have had the time to do any adjustments to the Heckler. The travel options increased a year ago, but have just now been added to the webpage.
