I just got a new 06 Epic Comp frame and need a ft der for it. I have an 03 Epic Comp and it has an XTR ft der right now.

Can I use the X-Gen ft der on this one? I can tell the chainstays have been moved to reduce the chainsuck. It looks like it will sit between the bottle bosses also..not a big deal since I dont carry any bottles on the bike.

I searched but did not come up with an answer on here.

I am looking for some advice on this as well. I have a Stumpjumper Comp HT and I would like to swap the Deore LX front deralleur for an XT, XTR or a SRAM X9. I would prefer the X9 to change to a complete SRAM drivetrain but I can't find anything saying whether it will work on my SJ or not. Thanks.
