'06 Boxxer Team Setup

2 clicks low speed, 4 floodgate. I weigh 190 and just put in the soft spring with minimal preload. Feels great now. In my opinion they come very oversprung.

Thanks for the feedback. I am still breaking my fork in and can feel it change after every run. We have aggressive trails here so I think the breakin time will be less than most. Did you get to break yours in much before you switched springs. By your weight you should at least be running Med springs, which it comes with.

blue knob 2-3 clicks, floodgate 3-4 clicks. I ride DH (2-6' drops, not a FR guy by any means) on an 03 Big Hit, use the Red (firm) spring and weigh 240+.

FWIW, this is a 05 Team upgraded with MC internals.

Yeah it was broken in for about a 3 weeks. I did feel it getting more and more sag for the first week or so, but then it stopped. At max I was getting just about an inch of sag. The dude at the Sram tent agreed with me that the set up guide for the springs was off and gave me the soft spring to try out. I like it a lot more.

How many clicks total are there on the FG knob on the Team/Race models?

I have a 06 Ride and there is about 30 clicks of FG and I run about 14 clicks from full open and 2 clicks from full open of compression for DH and 3 click of compression for FR

Yeah I counted about 30-32 click on the Team floodgate.
