Good day fellow IH rollers. I am building my first 7point ( frist real MB to be honest ). I recently go my x.9 shifters and my juicy 5s. I need helping ( with photos if possible) on how to route my cables and hoses.

Shifter cable should be pretty straight forever. Down the bottom of the top tube, down the upper portion of the swing-arm, and then into the derailer.

I've been off my bikes for over 3 weeks, so I can't even remember how to mount the rear brake cable. LOL!

Like Mike said,

Rear derailleur cable is mounted on the right side of the down tube (1st image)
Rear brake cable is mounted on the lift side of the down tube(1st image)
Front derailleur cable is mounted on the bottom of the top tube

For your rear derailleur you might want to zip tie the rear derailleur cable to the chain stay so it doest get smashed by the chainguide or front derailleur. (2nd image)

Thanks. I think I got it correct. I ram my rear d cable under my bottom bracket and hit it behind the bashguard sorta - is that going to be a problem.

Im not sure about problem, but it does cause a rather large bend and more friction in the cable that it could do without.

But thats just my .02 cents.
