05 reign with rp3?

i just picked up a 2005 model reign frame. i noticed the 2006 models have switched to a fox rp3. i would like to swap my swinger 3-way out for an rp3, which i also plan to send to PUSH industries for modification. is there any reason i can't/shouldn't use this shock on this frame? i dunno if this helps but it can't hurt; the frame size is 16" and i'm around 115lbs. thanks!

You might have already heard this, but some people have voiced the opinion that the stock RP3 is overdamped for lighter (sub-160lbs) riders.
My wife is 115lb and she had her Talas and RP3 pushed (Motolite). It made a HUGE difference in her speed over the really rough stuff. I was flat out stunned how much faster she got over the course of 5 rides.

I think a Pushed RP3 and a Pushed Pike are going to find their way onto my 05 Reign before the season starts...
pushed pike? does PUSH do work on rockshox?
Yeah, in 06' they are going to be pushing Pikes... don't know about the rest of the RS lineup.
