Is the '06 Pike better than the '05. I am mostly interested in the coil version. Did it change? I'm only asking because the price seems much higher for the '06. Thanks.

from what i've read nothing signaficant has changed. It was such a winner in 05 they may have made some minor changes like knobs, i don't know. My 05 has rubber coated knobs for grip, don't know if they're metal or plastic underneath but they feel plenty sturdy. IMO definately go with price if thats an issue, you won't gain any performance advantages with the 06's that I know of.
