I think I am going to buy one used to go on a steelhead for light Fr (5' max drop) and trail riding. Also, if it breaks, will Rs replace it even though I bought it second hand? Theyre alot easier to come by than the other models and I can get one for a little less than $300 shipped.
Thanks
Jim

I liked the fork so much I bought TWO. Then this happened.snowskilz said:the first run of forks had a casting flaw. it was fixed very quick. Id be surprised if you get a bad one. i bought my pike in march and it had the new casting. Their warranty time is amazing too
Thanks for the replies guys.Godzilla said:I've been riding an '05 Pike Team for about 5 months now and would buy another in a heartbeat - I really like the fork and have had no issues with it whatsoever. This is after swearing (prior to SRAM's purchase of RS) that I would never again ride RS after blowing both front and rear RS products 4 months out of the box.
RockShox has their sh1t together now - give them a shot you won't regret it.
FWIW - I weighed 194# as of last week, and am pretty hard on stuff.
