Just bought the FSA team carbon cranks,$200 on e-bay. Looking at american classic BBs with replaceable bearings, $80, Alfred E. bikes.com.

Is chainline 50mm? not 47.5 mm. on the 04 stumpy?
This new can of worms is making me think XTR, but FSA,Am.classic is under 800 grams and I don`t mind turning a wrench.
Replacing an xt m752. I need durable stuff for gnarly terrain. Is this a good move?

Back to my main question, what BB for this set up?

I am not sure if design changed but my 05 Stumpjumper(M4 hardtail) has BB 118mm. I just replaced it. Original part was ShimanoBB-ES30, (118 mm, 68mm BC1.37x24), I replaced it with Shimano part BB-ES71 same dimensions, bought at LBS for $45, PerformanceBike is selling for $36.

It shouldn't matter. 113 mm will pull the chainline in a bit, 118 will push it out a bit. As long as there aren't any clearance problems, you're fine.
