I have an '04 Skareb that I just can't figure out. It seems to top out with a nifty clunk-clunk... clunk... clunk-clunk. I've dickered around with the + and - psi., to no avail and have started wondering if it's a design flaw.

This fork came on an '04 NRS 1. The specs say Skareb Comp, but I think the Comp was only offered in '03 and then again in '05... so maybe this early-2004 NRS came with an '03 fork on it?

I'm 6'3" and 185. My sign is Cancer.

is your fork an SPV one?? sounds like it could be a sticky spv valve.

you should be able to find some handy advice about rebuilding your SPV somewhere around here

Yep, it's a Comp SPV. Thanks for the input. Given the performance of the fork (which is borderline unacceptable, specifically for someone over 175 lbs) I think I'll unload it on eBay and let someone else rebuild it.
