to adjust the travel on the 05 marzocchi marathon SL down to 105mm from 120, you simply put in 4x the negative pressure vs the normal 3x. Does this work in the 04 models as well??? Looking to see if anyone with an 04 model has given this a whirl.

I'd like to know this as well, although I'm more interested to find out if there is any way to make a 105mm '04 Marathon SL into a 120mm fork. I need the ride height.

I can tell you that when I put 3-4x neg in my fork it definately has less travel. something in the 80mm range. It also sags deeper though.
