Hey Everyone,

I have been extensively searching for info about on Giant's 2004 NRS 2. LBS has newer one on the floor (Avid mechanical model with skareb), a beautiful bike. The salesman said all the pivots on this model utilized ball bearings, yet on some posts found here people have alluded to shifting problems due to worn bushings, so does anyone know what's in the pivots---bearings or bushings? This bike may also be known as the 2004.5 model. Any Giant experts out there? BTW, LBS wants $1569. Thanks for any info!

From what I understand, the '04 NRS's come with bearings all the way around. The '03 (and prior) NRS's had bushings on one of the pivots.

Thx...Doug
