Dear List,
just grab an old Cannondale f800 by chance and wants service it to the best.
Lefty looks very close to be an early 100 DLR.
All familiar bike parts are on the way, but I am absolutely curious about Lefty, very new thing to me.
Can you please suggest the bestest place to find spares...
I have a 2010 cannondale flash 29er 3 with a lefty 29er dlr 80mm, and I found a lefty 2.0 100mm for what I think is a great price ($310), but I have heard bad things about the 2.0. Should I upgrade? Would there be any significant geometry changes?

I’ve seen documentation where both QC092 and KF213 springs are used in Lefty Max 140s. Are the springs Interchangeable or are there different versions of the Max 140 that prevent this?
So, I recently got my hands on a Lefty Max 140 SPV and had it serviced by Mendon Cyclesmith. Now my question is if can I do anything to adjust the damping, spring preload, PSI, and/or SPV volume to reasonably function for me, at 215lbs/97.5kg, considering it has a red spring rated at...
Hey all,
This is the first of my posts documenting my Cannondale Prophet build. The aim is to create the first "modern geometry" prophet with the original lefty.
A little background first; I got this bike over a year ago after discovering mtb in my junior year of high school. I like the...
The Lefty Supermax fork is touted as one of the best All Mountain forks in existence today. But many of us have bikes other than a Cannondale so the incompatible mounting interface of the Lefty fork has made it impossible to try this fork on our bikes.
Enter Jake Liles of Project 321. Currently...
Introduction
We've tried a couple of Lefty forks this past winter and were left impressed. It is just uncanny how a light, single-legged fork can be so stiff laterally and precise steering-wise. It was quite plush as well for a 100mm fork and very controlled with remote lockout features that...
So I did a bit of reading and found there might be air in the dampening cartridge? This Lefty is off a 2009 Cannondale 29er 2 so I am wondering if this is still the case the thread I read was pretty old. Here it is http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=18737

240lbs
170psi..ish

I'm sure the question has been asked several times before, I'm looking to upgrade the stock fork on my Cdale SL2 29'er (RST Deuce). I definitely want to stay with the air shock vs coil, but I need to keep the coin low- around $400-500 max. The frame has a 1.5" headtube w/ quick release type...
After almost 200 miles of trail riding between Durango and Moab on a lefty that wouldn't hold a charge, I cut a slot out of a vaccuum cleaner hose and jammed it in there -- ta-da! -- hard front.

I like my bike. She's been very reliable and fun for almost 6 years of many abusive miles. Could be lighter but so could I, right?
