Hi all, just wanted to share my thoughts on the new Galfer shark rotors that I've just started running. I was previously running the original Galfer wave rotors (203mm rear, 223mm front) with Galfer pro pads and thought they were the best of the best. But having now bolted on the equivalent...

Hey all, Considering an upgrade to braided lines and i'm finding it tough to find any detailed information on what's available. I've seen photos of builds that have MT7s and braided lines, however I can't seem to find a product that suits, or is made to suit the MT7. Has anyone done this, and...

New problem with these Hayes Dominion A4 brakes. Had them for a few months and they felt great but the rear lever always felt a tiny bit soft. Went to bleed them today and the bleed was quite tricky with lots of air getting into the system from what I thought was the lever bleed screw. After...

SRAM CODE R brakes I took off my 2022 Santa Cruz. They have some minor scrapes, but nothing major. The rear cable was cut to remove off bike, but there should be enough cable left. I will include two sets of new pads unopened as well as the rotors (200 / 180). Not a ton of miles on them.

I need some advise. I need to know if any brake lines will work with the Hayes dominion. I called every shop around me. Wasn’t expecting anything. And everything and I mean everything is out for about a month. Even online. They say the k2 line is what your supposed to use. But I was wondering if...

Hi guys, I've had a bit of a problem keeping the disc brakes from rubbing on my Kona Unit X. When I adjust the front disc brakes to where they no longer make a sound, they start making noises again after I brake while going downhill on a city road. I naturally have to apply the brakes quite hard...

Dang, this is a really hard topic for me, usually, I'd know what to get. Disc brakes are so expensive but as a high schooler who wants them, my budget is much lower than the usual Joe. For example, there are the Mt-200 but those are just a small improvement from mechanical and they have the 2...

I bought a set of Shimano GRX 600's that apparently came with something called a J-kit, this is the first time I've seen this. Can anyone who has used this give me some info? Also, what kind of spare parts do I need if I need to buy new barbs/olives for a new hose for the lever/j-kit side? So...

I don’t know if that’s what you would call it but an issue with the brake lever. About 4 days ago I threw my bike on top of my car and headed to some trails (kind of rack where front wheel must be removed), when I got the bike off and back together the front brake lever was much tighter then the...

Sup guys I've got a set of Shimano MT501 levers with MT500 calipers on my bike right now and i'm thinking about upgrading the calipers to Zee, but i'm not sure if they will work with those levers and is it even worth it. As far as i understand most shimano brake parts are cross-compatible, and...

So I want to lever bleed my zee brakes but I have no more shimano mineral oil because I haven’t been able to find any. I came up on some finish line mineral oil brake fluid and am wondering if it really matter if I use the finish line stuff to just lever bleed? All I want to do is put on the...

For most mountain bikers, the braking experience is as important as it gets. A brake set that you are confident in will make you faster. No, that doesn't mean bombing down hills at Aaron Gwin speeds thinking that a four-piston will save you. No, the better you feel on your bike the faster and...
