Geax Barro Race 2.0 Tire

DESCRIPTION

A tyre specifically designed for XC racing, where speed and low rolling resistance are key factors. For dry and hard packed conditions. Aggressive side knobs (Rails Design profile) for safe cornering, low height central knobs for a lowest rolling resistance and low weight. Strength:

55 SA compound (TNT version) gives the minimal tread some grip. Light for a tubeless. As with all the Geax I've tried, good quality and relatively inexpensive.

Weakness:

That same minimal tread will slam dunk you on gravelly, loose over hard back conditions.

Good enough grip with the 55 SA compound. Next to no tread means sketchy in the loose stuff.
If your rides or races are likely to be more in moist conditions, this is a decent choice. Not recommended for dry/desert-like conditions
