Strength:

The DUAIR LO-R8 came on my Haibike SDURO works perfectly and has just slightly too little compression damping for my 205 pound weight but I doubt that any other stock shock would function as well or better; I’m getting great traction and the ride over bumps and rocks is excellent

Weakness:

BUT the Shrader valve body is aluminum with wrench flats and is easily cross-threaded; I saw the guy at the bike shop do it when he adjusted the sag for me out the door. It won’t even work with a standard shock pump because the threads don’t even go all the way to the end of the valve. A Cane Creek digital shock pump with zero-loss valve will work on it but not the standard Rock Shox or Fox pumps because they don’t get sufficient thread engagement. Stupid design in one area ruins an otherwise great shock.
