For a cheap OEM shock, it's exceptionally bad.

Unserviceable sealed damper. Good for maybe a hundred miles, the throw it away.

Adjustability

Pedal bob

The Ario R is your bare bones, entry level RS air shock.
The shock only has rebound adjustment causing you to eat through your travel very quickly - even with properly set PSI.
It doesn't feel very responsive. Sometimes mushy even after tuning the rebound.

I will say in its minimalist nature, it's very reliable. I'm running a 2011 and have only done a seal overhaul once.
I would not recommend this shock after learning what works for me. I will be looking to upgrade the shock with something that has compression adjustment.
