Strength:

Supple initial stroke, with amazing mid stroke support and the ability to handle just about anything you throw at it.
Durable, easy and inexpensive to service.

Weakness:

Marz is no more. IF you weigh more than 190 and less than 140 you may find the stock spring unsuitable.

I purchased this fork after upgrading from a '04 Z1 freeride and then to a 2010 55RC3 ti. the 2014 Model is better than both. The most notable improvement was the increased mid stroke support. Where the 2010 model would be a bit divey the '14 stayed much higher in the travel but continued to soak up everything in it's path.

Using golden spectro 125/150 weight & I pop up the dust seals with a taped flatblade screwdriver every 20 or so rides and add fresh slick honey. Keeps it running smooth!
