Best matched tire set I've ever ridden. Mostly dry hardpack, these tires hooked no matter what I threw at them. Performance was only mediocre on wet pavement, but it's not often you take mountain tires on wet pavement.

I like the TT's for traction and Fisher spec'd it on my Paragon.
Unfortunately Fisher doesn't understand about mud, wide tires
and chain stay clearance. I had to give these up for narrower tires
since the chain stays were wearing away as mud would roll up and
wedge between tire and stays. I miss them. (Fisher did replace my
frame though). 5 thingys for TT.

These'uns is damn good tires. Real good for gripping through dead leaves, snaggin onto wet roots and the ride is stupendous compared to the typical Specialized tires. Who cares about wear? Getting new tires is one of the true pleasures in life.

just to show you how personal preference comes into play .... i love these tires, used to have a velociraptor on the back and i like the TT much better. so my review is exactly the opposite of someone else who liked the raptor much better.go figure.

this tyre is the best i've used yet for mud and snow riding, it hooks up well just about every where. but if you're a wimp you shouldn't use it.

Mud!! Look good too.
High rolling resistance, heavy
I've been reluctant to install this tire since I've been using Panaracer Fire's and Wildgrippers for the last while, but, with a tonne of rain over the last few weeks, the old Pyscho TT came out. Skeptical at first until I hit the deep mud. Just like I remembered, they were excellent at chugging through it. I ran them at low pressure and got slaughtered on the fireroads, but I ruled the mud! (they weren't all that bad on wet rocks and roots either)
Would I race on these - no (tried it last year in a 24 hour - dumb). But if you are going for a recreational ride in loose to very wet conditions, and you'd rather have the traction than pure speed, these are great.

STRONG EDGE,VERY CHUNKY,EXTREMELY HARD TO PINCH.
AINT GOT NONE SO DONT NIT PIC
MAINLY FOR DH AND TRIALS GOOD FOR DUAL SLALOM BUT DEFINATELY NOT FOR XC
IF YOU ARE A HARD CORE TRIALS RIDER AND NEED A TYRE TO TAKE SOME HAMMERING DONT BUY A CHEAP TYRE WITH NO GRIP ,BUY A MOTHER ONE AND GIVE IT SOME STICK, I DO 11FEET DROP OFFS ONTO CONCRETE AND I HARDLY EVER GET A PINCH FLAT.. I THINK THAT SAID IT ALL.... TOP MARKS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY AND LOOKS GOOD TO...

Nice Knobs, supertough wire bead
a little hefty, spongy sidewall
We finally had some rain over the weekend. Combine some rain with slippery leaf covered trails, and some slipper rocks..ouch! At the last minute I put on the Tiogas. They were new on the wheels when I bought them. For this purpose they are outstanding. I walked past many riders on the uphills, and ripped up the downhill switchbacks. But, they really stunk on the fire roads, very slow. But hey, off road is where it's at. Sidewalls are spongy, pump em up past 45psi. PAT
