works if they are fully serviced before and after riding
travel reduces to around 30mm after 20 mins riding, pathetic really
bad fork only buy it if you dont mind suspension that does NOT work

plush ride on small drops, very inexspensive.
bobby on uphill climbs and very little preload adjustments.
I've used this fork on two different bikes now, and really thrown some nasty terrain at it and it still works perty nice. If you don't want to spend bookoo bucks on a fork, RST's upper line of suspension will do the job just fine. I wouldn't recomend racing with this fork, you'd need something a little more rigid. But if you are just a XC recreational rider like me with an average paying job, this fork isn't too bad at all.

looks good, not too heavy, i guess theyre strong too.
the rst brand name, also a little too soft for up hill climbs and general xc
basically the forks are serving me very well. they look real nice [esp. for rst's] and considering they are a stock component on a fairly cheap bike, they are actually quite good. The most i have done on them at the moment is a small 2 foot drop off, they took that very nicely, however my mates fox forks bottomed out :D. I havent had any problems with them yet, however i think the preload adjustment should give a greater range- i cant get them stiff enough for xc hill climbing.
if you're looking for cheap starter dj forks, get these.
