Strength:

Durability, long lasting tight fit, padding, reflective logo.

Weakness:

None.

These shorts are just about impossible to wear out. I bought these in 2002 and I use them on my XC rides, on the road bike and when spinning. They don't stretch with age and washing as other shorts do. The padding is very comfortable and does the job. They don't rip when brushing against spruce twigs and the like on the trail.
The next pair I'm buying will be Endura MT500. Only this time in the bib version.

Strength:

super tough,comfortable,very breathable,

Weakness:

I guess they are a little expensive, but they've outlasted every other piece of kit I own.

The mix of materials and quality of construction...I'm pretty sure they are made in Scotland, make these shorts the best item of bike clothing I have ever owned. I have a pair of Endura MT500 tights as well, and like the shorts they are quite superb. I don't know how many times I've fallen while wearing them, but the material has no holes or even any snags. They also offer the best protection against 'road rash' I've come across. Definitely classics.

Amazing. Forget Assos. I also have a pair of the MT500 tights. Nothing comes close.

Beautifully made

Well made, comfortable fit ideal for the UK. Yes they are expensive but you get what you pay for. I've come off a couple of times recently and there has been no damage at all to the shorts

The best. These shorts are made in the UK and have been specifically designed for MTBing. They obviously
have been manufactured to last with different fabrics used in the panels and specially strong stiching like no
other cycling shorts. Tech Spec: 9.2oz Cordura Plus/Lycra outer panels, 8.1oz Coolmax/Lycra inner side
panels, Kevlar flatlock stitching, synthetic seamless chamois liner.
Extremely comfortable for all day riding and they look fab too, with the gold stitching and bright Endura
logos down the back of the leg.
Expensive, yeah. But you get what you pay for. You'll never want any other shorts.

Weakness:

Expensive - but you get what you paid for. How many other pairs of shorts are still going strong after nearly 10 years?

The best piece of biking kit I've bought, ever. After a high-speed encounter with some gravel recently I was amazed to find that my 9 year old MT 500s were still intact (more than can be said for my Specialized gloves!) and had saved some parts of my anatomy from serious skin loss...was so impressed I decided I had to buy another pair on a recent trip to England. Shame no one sells them south of the border here in NZ...
