Pro-Tec Double Down Pads - Elbow - Knee Armor and Pads

DESCRIPTION

The Double Down is undercover knee and elbow protection at its finest. Slim enough to be worn covertly under clothing but substantial enough to protect you from some of those more nasty spills. Incorporated in the low profile sleeve is a fully removable memory foam pad and small internal hard cap that are stashed in a ballistic nylon reinforced pocket. Small on volume, big on protection.

Strength:

pretty comfortable and light.

Weakness:

i get a rash every time i wear them.

the knee pads are pretty good. only for light protection. not recommended for rocky terrain. will protect against road rash. the elbow pads are a joke. they are tiny. they are practically the size of sweat wrist bands. i cant see them protecting anything. they really look like they were made for little kids. Also, for some reason i get a rash when i wear these pads.

Pads slip in crash

This review is for the elbow pads only. I did an endo on a down hill. As I went sliding face first down hill, the pads slipped up past my elbows. The result was abrasions on my elbow(not to mention numerous other places). Material wore and tore. These pads are definitely not for any kind of protection while riding.
