By forging the shaft and lower part of the clamp out of one piece of aluminum, there is no weak spot—just a solid, stiff support for your cycling adventures. The Easton EA50 seatpost also shares Taperwall Technology with it's more expensive cousins, which helps to keep strength high while minimizing weight. A two-bolt clamp makes adjusting saddle tilt a cinch, and provides a secure attachment for your saddle. Strength:

10x better than the bontrager that came stock. Looks good, simple saddle tilt adjustment. Lighter than my last post.

Weakness:

I'm comparing it to a bontrager, so it might not actually be all that great. Like comparing ritz to saltines....

Noticeably lighter than my old post, much easier to adjust, looks better and should have Easton's standard strength, what more could you ask for in a seat-post?
