Strength:

Super smooth, good action.

Weakness:

I have three bikes, all of them have KS LEV droppers... Like EVERYONE else they FAIL on a regular basis at anywhere from 7 months (my latest fail) to 18 months (the longest I've ever had one last. You will know impending fail when it starts to sag (a little suspension seatpost action!) at that can last anywhere from a couple weeks to a few months - then it will fail completely. This is really too bad because these are a good working dropper, when it works. I bough and re-bought the newer models (current one is the top of the line carbon and it failed at 7 months) thinking they would have surely fixed this issue, but NOT. Although it will be more hassle to install (hydraulic lines instead of cable) I'm going Rock Shox Reverb next time around....

Strength:

~ Solid top-out ~ Good weight ~ Compatible with many dropper remote brands ~ Installation ease ~ It just works... Many of you who bash this component should really RTFM. When installed correctly - it becomes as reliable as your front shock. After many years with a 125mm drop.... I realize I only need 100mm of drop.

Weakness:

~ Minute lateral play ~ Cost

Strength:

Great when I first bought it. Easy to use, smooth

Weakness:

Like everyone else, failed after about five months. Started to sag. When into a shop with at sold lots of them and claimed they were very reliable. Two days later went into the same shop and spoke to a frequent customer. He has returned his KS Lev four times.

Costs too much to be so unreliable. Had a Gravity Dropper for five years without any problems. It can be done
