Strength:

1. These brakes on a steep five mile bike park descent where speeds can easily approach over 30 mph through coasting had zero fade issues. That in of itself is almost the primary reason you should buy these. 2. Consistent and predictable. The lever feel gives you a great sense of where the bite lock up point is front and rear. 3. Flip flop levers. Brakes levers aren't left/right, front/rear specific so you can just install them on the bars without worrying you mixed them up. 4. Superior stopping power.

Weakness:

1. Be very careful about not over tightening the brake lever clamps as the patented carbotecture plastic clamp is very easy to break. 2. You may notice these pads wear out faster in a year on the MT5s compared to the brakes you had on your bike before. 3. You may not like the mushy feel of these brakes compared to Sram or Shimano. 4. Adjustment during installation. It may take some time to dial these brakes in during the installation phase.

Strength:

4 piston stopping power and nice modulation. German engineering

Weakness:

Not as popular as the S brand and a little more $ than them.

The performance of these breaks is awesome. After a short break in period down a couple of hills, they are quiet and work smoothly and strongly w/o being grabby or unpredictable like some disc brakes. I like that the levers and clamps are composite plastic so if I wreck it's more likely to break the lever/clamps and not damage the cylinder.
