Superb modulation and power, Killer looks. replaced Mono M4 and the difference is amazing. I had the standard sintered brake pad removed and replaced with organic from day 1. Absolutely love the power they give me and the confidence to fly into dropped berms knowing I can stop on a sixpence. (Dime to you colonial cousins) Total recomendation and I'm a big Dude! You can never have to much stopping power!!!

Weakness:

They need to be set up with care and feeling. But once done they are awesome. Its definitley worth taking time to remove the pads and set the disc up dead centre in the run out grove and then re-fitting the pads and setting the pistons individualy. Love em!

Super powerful stoppers and super smooth modulation give total confidence on Alpine downhill rides such as the Leogang Austria downhill and Fort Bill Scotland.

Excellent brake, Do exactly what a brake is supposed to do. Ultra reliable. I ride the alps in Italy and never get any face running a 225 mm front, and 200 mm rear.
Most consistant brakes I've ever used

Weakness:

The stock pads are pretty useless, just replace them on day one and experience the brakes the way they should feel

Great brake, let down only by the stock pads. I am suprised Hope hasn't done something about this really, compared to the brake, pads are very cheap, and the performance you can get with decent pads beats anything else on the market.
Highly reccommended..

Rubbish out of the box, Price

Purchased the Moto6 to replace my old M4.

Once again Hope let me down and were rubbish out of the box.

Re-bled using Castrol SRF racing fluid and fitted EBC green pads and they now rock. Feel just like a brake should. Firm & consistant.

Cmon hope, sort your stock pads out - I know they are designed for british weather (wet, wet and wet) but better pads would be good...

Good Power and modulation. Reasonable weight.

Weakness:

The stock pads are poor and need to be replaced P.D.Q
Adjustments are a pain....no one should still be using shims today. The pistons can stick sometimes.

Pretty good brakes. Some caveats regarding the shims and sticking pistons and also I think the stock pads are a real weak point and the brakes should not come equiped with such pads.

you can get post mount and other adapters
huge rotors with aluminum carier
nice lever blades
looks
braided hoses
modulation

Weakness:

stock pads need regular use.
cnc lever cuts into the carbon weave in my bars its so fine.
price
and..... hmm i'm gunna say the shimms even though using no shimms gave me no rub.
and i guess not many pple like to bleed them. they are from uk so replacement parts iuno lol.

you have to use them dhing on a regular basis to keep them strong. its the pads thats the problem. after a dh run they are very touchy when going slow and have lots of power and modulation for speed. i can do nose manuals blind folded. riding dh i can let my fingers off my brakes because i know i'm going to be able to slow down. i can stop so quicly. you can modulate them between dj packs wich is what i mostly ride. not much else to say but some pple hate them and some pple love em. imo the 03 gustav was better but they are rare.

They look great, the machining is artwork. They are extremely strong brakes but have enough modulation to keep you from going over the bars. They dissipate heat well and rarely fade at all.

Weakness:

The damn shims are a pain in the ass. The stock pads are pretty weak, get some EBCs.

Amazing brakes. Period.

huge caliper/ pads
heat "dispersion" overall power/modualtion
descend 10.000 feet on 225mm rotors and 300 pounds of bike/rider without heat fade etc.
there are now post mount m6 calipers
I also hear they now use delrin on the piston like magura's gustav m to "lessen" heat transfer.

Weakness:

maybe some in the long run, but I am just starting to use them.

winter on the shore should really test them.
