Strength:

Good frame
nice brakes
equipment set OK

Weakness:

Suntour XC shocks high maintenance and low end
Seat stem to seat only interference fit (spun out in a week)
pedals = kids toy plastic

My son has had the bike for 3 months in winter (melb Autralia)

free plug for the bike in action.....

The Suntour shocks run well when very clean but take up water and dirt via osmosis and jam right up ! The inner chrome has work right off one staunchion already. (have replaced with Rock Shox Recon silver, V-Nice upgrade)

The spoke tension was iffy from the factory causing the rear to taco unexpectedly (chain reaction replacement Mavic fitted and re-strung in an hour ! figjam !)

Seat stem also spun out from seat but shop replaced that.
Its taken a real beating but goes nice and will be part of the family for many years.

Lightwight frame, that Nevada 3.0 have disc brakes, not V one's, possibility to mount wide tyres, to 2.15, shifters on wheel, double rim, and aluminium details.

Weakness:

Sad that they put hidrouliq brakes only on Nevada 1.0 not 3.0 too, brake response, hard rear part while riding at anti-soft road :D

I hav driven the bike for a two years, i am using it practicly every day, and it's still like new. If you dont broke it while riding, and you will clean it, check air pressure, e.t.c.
It will be yor best two wheel friend...
I don't know anything better for that price to buy...

Strength:

Much lighter than major department store bicycles (approx 32 lbs). Okay entry level bike riders, disc brakes, and lock out feature on forks (the locked forks are great when riding on paved trails/roads).

Weakness:

Crank set and rings are weak. The first day I brought it home and rode, the chain got caught up and bent the middle chain ring (this was likly due to incorrect adjustment). Store did service and replace parts. Have had issues w/ drive trail ever since, even after several adjustments and part replacement.

I have used this on moderate MB trails (mostly dirt and some rock) and the bike has held up well dispite some drivetrain issues, even after a few spills. So far I have approx 600 miles on this bike. IMO, good for entry level (certainly not for hard core MB) but for best results upgrade pedals and crank set asap.

Strength:

Good frame, fairly light, nimble for its size, decent drivetrain for its price point, very upgradeable.

Weakness:

Fuji stem and bars are heavy and all wrong for me. Tektro discs take awhile to break in.

Its a pretty decent bike for the price. I compared it to the specialized hardrocks and GT avalanche. All were spec'd about the same but the Fjui had a lockout fork and a little better rear derailer for about $200 cheaper with taxes. The bike is very upgradeable and the frame is strong with all the gussets. Its also a good looking bike too. It is very stabel at hight speeds and tracks great on sharp turns. Much better than the specialized i had. The bike is begging for a fork, brake and derailer upgrade though. Once that is done the bike is solid enough to grow with newer riders.

Strength:

a good entry level bike

Weakness:

could have done with slightly better parts...

not too bad a bike for the amount you pay... have been used as well as abused since day 1... might want to upgrade the parts though... can be used in urban riding or trail riding... can also handle a bit of jumps... a bike for those who are new to the mountain biking scene...

Strength:

light frame with good sizing options, decent wheelset by Alex(despite what other reviewers say I like them), disc brakes, integrated headset by Cane Creek.

Weakness:

Fuji components are not really that great. I have replaced them all. That being the stem, handlebar, seatpost all wrong for the frame sizw I bought. Needs to really stay with shimano components and not deviate with Suntour drivetrain, which also implies that they should have put a 9 speed setup on it in place of the 8 speed. Brakes are hard to get right.

I bought the bike cause it looked good and when allowed to test ride it it just felt right to me. I test rode 15 other bikes before purchasing this one. As my riding became more aggressive I upgraded alot of the stock parts because they were, in all honesty, a little shy of the quality needed to put up with the punishment, and even though I think the price is high for what you get, if upgraded a little it becomes a surprising performer. I always get compliments on the trails, its the only bike like it in the area. All other criticisms aside the frame is pretty good. Im not sure I would recomend it in lou of so many other bikes that seem to have a better price point for the kinds of parts you get out of the box.

Strength:

Good frame, that's about it

Weakness:

wheels, chainset, gears, handlebar, brake pads

I bought this bike about 2 months ago. I pretty much broke everything on it in about 2 weeks. Thankfully, I have been able to get most of it replaced under warranty.

I am kind of hard on this bike, but not THAT hard. This is a light on-road bike ONLY. No jumping, bunny hopping, or offroading, unless you upgrade all of the components.

I jumped it off a flight of steps just barely 3 feet high, and landed perfectly. Bent the back wheel like a taco and pretty much trashed the chainset. And I only wieght 170.

The other wheel went out in a small pothole in a field. The grips on the handlebars melted on a hot day.

Basically, this is a piece of crap and not intended for any mountainbiking, off roading, or even riding in urban areas. Do not buy this bike.

Strength:

This bike is bomb proof! I dish out way more than a bike in this price range should handle. Narrow handle bars, great for riding through tight trees and trails.

Weakness:

Geometry puts you over the handle bars. Which makes it rather difficult for climbs.

For the money you can't beat it. On my way to the LBS, to upgrade to a Gary Fisher piranha.
